The Compact DX is a vehicle in Burnout 3: Takedown.
Overview
The Compact DX is an upgraded version of the Tuned Compact. It controls surprisingly sturdily for a vehicle with a low weight statistic, however at the same time, it also enters drifts fairly early in a turn. This makes it a bit of an oddball of a vehicle, but it would be most at home in a Race event. It is one of three Compact cars that can go faster than 160 MPH and it is most likely the first one to be unlocked by players.
The DX is available in Black/White, Blue/White and Red/White colors. The car re-appears in Burnout Legends as the Compact Collector 4, although its paint job is vastly different.

Awarded for attaining 4 Gold Medals.
Resemblance
The Compact DX resembles an R33 Nissan Skyline in the front and midsections (except for a shortened wheelbase). The back end heavily resembles the Toyota Celica [Generation 4, Generation 5 and Generation 6 (but mostly Generation 6)]. The Compact DX's spoiler resembles that of a Ford Escort Cosworth. The paint scheme also resembles the Assassin Super.
