The Custom Classic is yet another "ultimate" vehicle in Burnout Revenge and is the second of two revamped editions of the Hot Rod from Burnout 2: Point of Impact. Like the other ultimate vehicles the Custom Classic has both the best Crashbreaker rating possible and the highest boosting speed possible.
The Light weight makes the acceleration on this car a bit poor, but it is a decent choice for Road Rage. When steering with this car at high speed without the brake being tapped, it tends to drift on its own. This can be difficult to control when steering tightly on loose corners. The oddest thing is that it flies higher than most of the other cars, resulting in more time midair. This isn't a good thing for shortcuts that include huge jumps (like the huge ramp at the start of Central Route F). Because of all this, this vehicle is a carbon copy of the Hot Rod.
How to Unlock Edit
In real life the Custom Classic looks similar to a Ford Model A or B Coupe used in the American Hot Rod culture. Compared to other vehicles in Burnout's history, it resembles the Hot Rod from Burnout 2: Point of Impact and Burnout 3: Takedown with a visible engine.
The Custom Classic is also the same car as the Hot Rod. It performs exactly the same but with a blue paintjob.
- The chassis and the tires can only be painted in the PS2 and Xbox version.
- In the Xbox 360 version of Burnout Revenge, the AI in the World Tour will sometimes have either a Hot Rod or a Custom Classic with a different-colored chassis. However, this isn't possible to do.
