It looks the same as the Works M-Type ST but has different top speed and has a spoiler.
One of the colors from the ST variant is replaced with a light blue finish with black wheels. The Works M-Type DX also has a spoiler and other minor changes in appearance. The performance though is basically the same as the ST version but faster.

The Works M-Type DX is unlocked by earning a bronze medal in the "Crashbreaker Eliminator - Short Reverse" event in Central Route within the Dangerous rank.

- The Works M-Type DX is fitted with a license plate that reads "RO-MU-02".
