The Hunter Manhattan is a wonderful stunt car in terms of how early on it is unlocked in the game. There will be better ones, but they will not be seen until much later. The reason this is a great stunt car is that it seems to handle better in the air than on the ground. On the ground, it drives like it looks. There is a lot of body roll, a wide turn radius, and although it does drift well, in emulation of the four-wheel drum brakes of old, it takes a landing strip to stop. All of this does not matter once one drives this car off a split ramp, however. One can easily pull a 360 Flat Spin or one or two barrel rolls in the air. This car is a specialty car. Despite its high strength, its low weight and therefore survival capability does not allow it to perform very well in Road Rage events, and its bad handling hinders it in Race events. However, in Stunt Run events it manages to overcome its faults in full.

[edit] Description

It handles like a barge, but when you're sailing through the air doing a double barrel roll you at least won't go unnoticed! Showing off is the order of the day here.

[edit] How to Unlock

Win 22 events, then shut it down.

[edit] Resemblance

The Hunter Manhattan generally resembles some 1950's and 60's Cadillacs. One of which is the 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood but with a coupe body style and other small changes. As well as the 1958 Chevrolet Impala for the rear windows. The default pink paint job may also confirm the Cadillac heritage.

The front styling of the Hunter Manhattan is also similar to the Checker Marathon which was often seen as a New York City taxicab and might explain the Manhattan name for the vehicle.
