Its performance and appearance are fully identical to that of its unmodified version and the only major difference is an Italian-style cop livery. Unlike the original X12 the engine is significantly louder when using Boost. This is most likely due to the fact that its handling is much more stable in comparison to the stock version.

The X12's general form may have been inspired by the popular Jaguar XJR-15 but due the X12's more modern styling it also bears a resemblance to the more recent Koenigsegg CCR and CCX. The fact that both Koenigsegg and Jansen are Swedish manufacturers further confirms the reference. The front of the vehicle is based loosely on the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve and the bumper resembles that of the Ferrari F430.
The PCPD X12 has a livery resembling those used by Italian police vehicles even though it has Swedish design roots.
