The Jansen X12 is one of the fastest cars in the game. It, like most other Speed boost type cars, has amazing speed and boost but poor strength. Therefore, it follows suit in terms of event effectiveness. It is best for Race events and not really anything else due to its boost type and low strength. The X12, as the official description would imply, takes a little time to get used to. The X12's handling is tuned for grip at relatively high speeds, so it's harder to maintain control of the vehicle when it's moving slowly. Once under control, however, there are few other cars in the game that can catch up to it.

It's fast. It's a bit mental. And it doesn't like you very much. But if you've got the skills to tame it, there aren't many cars faster.

[edit] Resemblance
The car model may have some design inspiration from the popular Jaguar XJR-15 sports car, but it bears it's greatest resemblance to the more recent Koenigsegg CCR or CCX. The manufacturers of the real and fictional vehicles both being from Sweden further confirms the design influence. Its front resembles that of the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve with the bumper resembling that of the Ferrari F430.

- In Burnout Paradise's Free February Update, the X12's speed stat was lowered from 7 to 5 and it's boost stat was lowered from 8 to 7.
- The X12 is one of the few vehicles that can be driven with its engine exposed.
