The Krieger Überschall 8 is an extreme Speed vehicle. This vehicle is capable of outrageous speeds, due to excellent speed and boost ratings, but being a race car, its strength level is very poor. Due to these factors, Race events are the only place this car should be used. As the description implies, the Überschall 8 has poor drifting capabilites, so the player should use boost to help force the Überschall 8 into one. In conclusion, if one can control this car, its sheer speed is almost completely unmatched.

[edit] Description
If you can keep it under control, this is a seriously rapid piece of equipment. In drifts, use the throttle to get the back end moving, then hold on tight.
[edit] How to Unlock
Win 128 events, then shut it down.
[edit] Resemblance
The Überschall 8 bears a strong resemblance to the Bentley Speed 8, with the exception of its paint job and overall length, as the Bentley has a longer nose and tail. Furthermore, both vehicles' names end with the number "8", signifying another resemblance between the two race vehicles. The car also strongly resembles the Modified Super from Burnout 3: Takedown as well as the Criterion Racer GT and EA Racer GT from Burnout Revenge. It also appears in Burnout Dominator under the name of GT Racer. The Überschall 8's front end matches that of the Toyota GT-One's front. Since many cars from Krieger are close matches to Audi cars you can see some matches, especially in the paintshop to a Audi R10.

[edit] Notes
- In Burnout Paradise's Free February Update, the Überschall 8's speed stat was lowered from 10 to 7.
- "Supersonic" is the literal English translation of the word Überschall, and that can be noted with this vehicle, as a sonic boom can be heard after a successful Burnout.
