The Carbon Überschall 8 is the carbon variation of the Überschall 8. The prototype-like vehicle now sports a chrome shaded exterior, along with a boost type conversion from Speed to Stunt. However, the Carbon Überschall 8 differentiates from its brethren by trading 2 Speed and Boost points for 2 Strength points. This is unlike the other carbon vehicles, as they received additional points in every area without sacrificing anything. It is highly likely that this change was made due to balancing issues. Despite the loss in the Speed and Boost regions, however, the Carbon Überschall 8 is actually more well rounded. It still performs very well in Race events, and happens to fix its original problem with drifting, making it more useful for Stunt Runs because the conversion has made it easier to do barrel rolls, unlike some other conversions which change the boost type.

[edit] Resemblance
The Krieger Carbon Überschall 8 bears a strong resemblance to the Bentley Speed 8, with the exception of its paint job and overall length, as the Bentley has a longer nose and tail. Furthermore, both vehicles' names end with the number "8", signifying another resemblance between the two race vehicles.
The car also strongly resembles the Modified Super from Burnout 3: Takedown as well as the Criterion Racer GT and EA Racer GT from Burnout Revenge. It also appears in Burnout Dominator under the name of GT Racer.
The Überschall 8's front end matches that of the Toyota GT-One's front.
[edit] Notes
- In Burnout Paradise's Free February Update, the Krieger Carbon Überschall 8's speed stat was lowered from 8 to 6.
- If you look closely at the outlines of the Carbon Überschall 8's rims while accelerating, you will notice that they would spin into a dark gold color instead of white. It is unknown whether the yellow marks on its tires are making the white outlines turn into a gold color while accelerating.
- While the carbon version of the Überschall 8 has perfected its handling, it can still be a tricky vehicle for Stunt Run events, due to its extremely light weight.
- This vehicle can't be used in an online Cops & Robbers game.
- This vehicle is one of few cars with its engine "fully" exposed.
