[edit] Description
The Walmart Racing WTR sports their distinctive star-spangled livery. Save money. Live better. Drive harder.
[edit] How to Unlock
Under sponsor product code in the pause menu, enter "walmart". This code is for the NTSC version only. You must have the Burnout driver's license or better to use this car in single play.
[edit] Resemblance
The Racing WTR, including the Wal-Mart version, closely resembles the real-life 2007 Champ Car DP-01, which was produced by Elan Motorsports in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Although the game model also resembles a Formula 1 (F1) car, it has no natural induction air box. Like other Champ Cars, the DP-01 used a turbocharged V8, and thus needed no air box above the driver's head, simply a roll hoop for driver safety.
[edit] Notes
- Wal-Mart was a Champ Car sponsor for several years.
- After the release of the Free February Update, players are no longer able to input sponsor codes to unlock sponsor vehicles. However, if you entered the code before the update you will still be able to use the car.
- This vehicle can't be used in an Online Cops & Robbers game.
