Locked boost

Locked boostis a boost type first introduced in the Boost Specials pack from Burnout Paradise. When the player presses the boost button, the vehicle gains a permanently full boost bar, which means that the boost bar doesn't run out but continues to boost even if you let go of the accelerator. There are three ways to stop it: perform a Flat Spin, Wreck, or use the brakes to slow the vehicle down to a safe speed. The only car thus far to feature Locked boost is the Carson Extreme Hotrod. This boost type has bright blue flames.
