This article is about Muscle Type 2 in Burnout 3. For Muscle Type 2 in Burnout Legends, see Muscle Type 2 (Burnout Legends).The Muscle Type 2 is a bit different from the other vehicles in its class due to the fact that it does not perform very well when confronting rivals. It is hard to attack another driver, much less perform takedowns because of this disability, it is wise to only use this vehicle for Races and to avoid other burners as much as possible.

Awarded for unlocking the Muscle Series which requires the completion of the Compact Grand Prix.
[edit] Resemblance
The Muscle Type 2's front and midsection closely resembles that of a fifth-gen Nissan Skyline GT-R/Nissan Skyline R34 V-spec II or a Ford Mustang SVT Cobra's.
The headlights resemble that of a Nissan Maxima GLE 2002-2003 (fifth generation) with a smoke tint. The tail lights resemble that of a fifth generation Ford Mustang (before the redesigned 2010 model) with the exception of the color of the turn signals.

- The Muscle Type 2 is the vehicle caught in the explosion on the cover for Burnout 3. This can be easily told because the distinctive grill on the bonnet is the same on both vehicles.
- The colors available to the Muscle Type 2 are blue, black and red.
- The Nakamura Ikusa GT from Burnout Paradise is loosely based off of this vehicle.
