"Slide your car at breakneck speed through busy down-town streets. A fast city course to test your skill!" - Burnout 2: Point of Impact instruction manual
Palm Bay is a southern area in Burnout 2: Point of Impact, and is one of the seven areas the player will race through on their way through the game's championships.
It is a coastal city with bustling suburbs and downtown areas. It is easily distinguished by the bright pink-colored roads and is fairly easy where its tracks are concerned, but it can catch people off guard with the surprisingly high amount of cross-sections.
- One of Palm Bay's courses has an inconsistent number of laps between the normal and reversed route. Palm Bay Heights has three laps, but the reverse has four laps.
- In the PlayStation 2 release, the reverse route of Palm Bay Heights plays "Bridge The Gap" instead of "A Photograph".
