Road Rage (Burnout 3)

From Burnopedia, the Burnout wiki

This article is about Road Rages in Burnout 3. For information on Road Rages on other Burnout games, see Road Rage.

Road Rage is an event in Burnout 3: Takedown.

In the Burnout World Tour there are a total of 14 different road rages over all continents. In each event in the World Tour there is a 3 minute time limit to get the specified amount of takedowns. In order to get the bronze a low amount of takedowns from around 2-6 is needed. To get the silver medal double the amount of takedowns needed for the bronze in the event. To get the gold medal add the amount of the silver and bronze medals together.

In Single Player mode Road Rages are slightly different as you can do a Road Rage on any track with any car class (excluding Heavyweights). There is also no time limit which means the event won't end until your car is Totaled.

[edit] Strategy

When choosing a car for a Road Rage the Prototype and Assassin cars within each class are usually a hot pick. Assassin cars are built to attack other cars which makes taking down opponents easier.

In Single Player mode the two best cars to choose to set high records are the Modified Sports (Weight 3) & Oval Racer Special (Weight 2) since both of these cars are the heaviest in their class they can easily Takedown the other lighter Weight 1 Sports cars. Note: The Oval Racer Special gets put against Sports class cars when picked. Also if the game puts a Modified Sports in the Road Rage with you quit the Road Rage back to the Main Menu & restart because if you don't that Modifies Sports the game picked will make a record attempt hard.
