|Sports Type 2|
The Sports Type 2 is a vehicle in Burnout 3: Takedown. It is the second of three cars earned by unlocking the Sports Series. Similar to the Sports Type 1, this vehicle harbors bad handling, though there's slightly more control in this car. This, however, doesn't change the fact that this car is not for inexperienced players.
Much like the Sports Type 1, this car is bad in terms of grip although it isn't as difficult to turn. It has a slight weight advantage which is more ideal for takedowns, but players will need to battle at a slower pace with this car to keep it under control. Players will probably have already unlocked the Assassin Sports long before this car so it is almost useless.
The Sports Type 2 is available in white, blue and red.
How to UnlockEdit
Complete the Coupe Grand Prix and unlock the Sports Series.
ResemblanceEditThe Sports Type 2 greatly resembles the seventh generation Toyota Celica. The headlights, however, are similar in shape to that of the Nissan 300ZX. The front has a striking resemblance to the third generation Chevrolet Camaro.
- When Burnout 3 was in development in early 2004, the Sports Type 2's headlights bore a closer resemblance to those seen on the generation / T230 series (1999–2006) Toyota Celica. It also had more decals.
- In the game's cover, the Sports Type 2 is painted black with yellow stripes, and cannot be painted with that color in-game.
