Blue Super Type 1

A blue-colored Super Type 1.

The first of the three Super Types, the Super Type 1 is an Italian-styled, mid-engined factory sports car. As its physical appearance suggests, this supercar does more than fine in the Race field of work as it moves forward and sideways quite well. However, even though it has above-average weight compared to the other Super vehicles, its performance in a Road Rage is less than satisfactory.

Despite being one of the heaviest supercars, the Super Type 1's takedown ability is complete rubbish. Apart from this flaw, the car is an excellent starting car for the Super Series. With fast acceleration and smooth handling, racing is this car's specialty.

The Super Type 1 can be painted either black, red or yellow.

How to Unlock

Complete the Sports Grand Prix to unlock the Super Series. This is one of the three cars unlocked for the Super Series.

Resemblance

The Super Type 1 resembles a less "dynamic" version of the Ferrari 360 Modena. The 360 Modena has more exaggerated features such as larger fenders.

Notes

  • The Rossolini Tempesta in Burnout Paradise uses a similar body kit.
  • In the intro movie for Burnout 3: Takedown and in the background menu videos, a blue Super Type 1 can be seen. Early screenshots of Burnout 3 show the Super Type 1 with a blue finish. Possibly due to the 3-color limit, the color blue was not made available for use in the final release build. This is also seeable on the Silver Lake Postcard and in the intro of Burnout 3 and on the title screen of the game.
  • Also, a white Super Type 1 can be seen on the picture of a Signature Takedown, "Hit the Split", despite the color not being available as well.
