TargetUberschall

This is the Junkyard icon present in the current build of Burnout Paradise.

The Target Überschall is an unreleased Sponsor Car edition of the Überschall 8, featuring Target as its sponsor. It was made unavailable to unlock before the release of Burnout Paradise and use of the vehicle blocked after the release of the Cagney patch. The knowledge of its existence, like the Tillys Reliable and the Chrome Car came from a thread about two gamers who used cheats, hacks, and/or game modifiers to unlock them for use.

Target Überschall

Target Überschall in PS3 version of the game. Version 1.0

The Target Überschall has the same statistics as the Krieger Überschall 8 before the release of the Free February Update. This would have made the Target Überschall perform, handle and respond in the same manner as the Überschall 8.

Target is a retailing company based in the United States of America. The reason Target was dropped as a sponsor was because they didn't start putting Xbox 360 and PS3 games in their stock until mid-2010, meaning that copies of Burnout Paradise weren't being sold at a Target store at the time, but Wal-Mart was not dropped and was incorporated in Burnout Paradise as the Krieger Walmart WTR.

Description

Take aim. Then take down the opposition with this remodeled Überschall 8. Custom built for Target.

How to Unlock

This car is not unlockable by normal gameplay. However, there are PS3 "savegames" released on YouTube that include this car, but you will have to be on a lower patch of Burnout Paradise to use it.

Resemblance

Like its brethren, the Krieger Überschall 8's design is influenced by the Bentley Speed 8, the Modified Super of Burnout 3: Takedown, and the front of the Toyota GT-One.

Notes

  • It is presumable that, like all the other sponsor vehicles, the Target Überschall's statistics are the same as its base version's, before the Free February Update: 10 Speed, 9 Boost, and 2 Strength.
  • The icon for the Target Überschall in the Junkyard is misleading, as it uses the same car model from Modified Super of Burnout 3: Takedown.
  • It has better control than the regular one with slightly more grip and gets off the line a little bit faster than the other Uberschalls.
